The largest, privately-owned technology solutions provider, TBI (formerly Telecom Brokerage Inc.) announced the promotion of Corey Cohen from Director of Marketing to Vice President of Marketing. This promotion makes Corey the first woman to join the master agent’s now seven-person executive team.
Cohen manages the company’s brand strategy, multi-channel marketing efforts, public relations, and advertising. “Corey has been a large part of building TBI’s marketing department for the past four years. Her energy is unequaled,” said Geoff Shepstone, President of TBI. “Corey and her team have the most productive marketing department amongst our national master agent community, assisting industry vendors to establish and/or augment their own channel marketing programs and helping partners market themselves.”
Under Cohen’s leadership, TBI’s marketing department increased from three to eleven team members. The department has established an industry-rivaled content program with solution eBooks, technology comparison guides and matrices, partner downloads and white-labeled collateral. They recently launched the Partner Marketing Center (PMC), a through channel marketing automation tool with pre-loaded email campaigns and additional campaigns added monthly; it has seen tremendous success with more than 300 users and over 150,000 emails sent in less than six months. TBI’s marketing department has dedicated partner marketing support to assist with customized social media training, content, website audits, and general marketing consultation. Additionally, they’ve built a video program providing partner and vendor video case studies and testimonials.
Ms. Cohen has also been recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation, being named as one of CRN’s Women of the Channel in 2018; this honor is given to women based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
Before coming to TBI, Cohen headed up business development at a B2B brand development and integrated marketing agency, Magnani Continuum Marketing. There, she worked with companies like Siemens, CNA, AARP and Marriott International developing global marketing communications. She started her career in public relations for consumer and enterprise technology companies, handling all media relations, product launches, analyst reviews, media tours, and educational programs.
