IP desktop phone manufacturer snom Technology AG used the ITEXPO East 2013 event in Miami last week to present its expanded line of SIP Lync-qualified business phones to VAR attendees.
The 7xx series IP desktop phones are fully interoperable with Microsoft Lync for unified communications.
The snom 710, snom 720, and snom 760 phones headlined the company’s line-up on exhibit at the ITEXPO show. Off the show floor, snom led a discussion about SIP endpoint interoperability with unified communications. snom COO Mike Storella joined other UC experts in a special panel about Microsoft Lync deployment trends, myths, challenges, and solutions.
“Microsoft Lync has certainly been winning its share of the interest and has become one of the hottest discussion topics in enterprise UC,” states a snom statement from the event.
Other snom products demonstrated at the event included:
- UC Edition Apollo Firmware – Offers Lync server provisioning and management features for faster, more efficient configuration and installation of endpoints in multi-site SMB environments.
- snom 821 IP Phone – An advanced IP desktop phone for the executive or knowledge worker.
- snom 370 & snom 300 IP Phones – “Qualified for Lync” phones.
