Siemplify, the leading independent provider of security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR), announced the appointment of Roger Egan as its new vice president of global sales.
Egan is an executive-level sales and business development leader with over 20 years of experience managing all aspects of global hardware, software and services sales. Most recently, he led sales at Docker, taking the enterprise container platform company from startup to a widely recognized brand with over 700 enterprise customers and revenue growth of over 100% annually.
“The addition of a seasoned, customer-centric leader like Roger further fortifies our mission of becoming the leading security operations platform for enterprises and MSSPs around the globe,” said Amos Stern, CEO and co-founder of Siemplify. “Roger’s proven experience in scaling sales organizations is a perfect match for our aggressive growth objectives. Egan’s prior experience includes executive stints at Red Hat, where he served as VP of North America channels alliance, and at IBM, whereas client director he managed some of the company’s most critical accounts in the financial services sector.

Egan received a master’s degree from Duke University in North Carolina and a Bachelor of Science at Manhattan College in New York. He also serves as president of the board of directors of the nonprofit Voice Health Institute in Boston.
