Proofpoint, Inc., (NASDAQ: PFPT), a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, has announced the promotion of Blake Sallé to the position of Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales. Sallé is currently the Theater Vice President of the Americas and brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership to his new position at Proofpoint. In his new role, Sallé will lead the global sales and channel teams and be responsible for the direction and management of the company’s sales revenue strategies.

During his career, Sallé has held key leadership positions across Worldwide Sales, Channel, Customer Success, Strategy, and Field Operations in five different capacities ranging from start-up to scale-out. His experience is hallmarked by working for some of the most recognized and innovative organizations in the high-tech and healthcare industries. These organizations include Cisco, VCE, Johnson & Johnson, and CSC.
Sallé holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
