PhoenixSoft Announces New Programs to Help Service Providers IP-Enable Networks and Increase Revenue

PhoenixSoft Announces New Programs to Help Service Providers IP-Enable Their Networks and Increase Revenues through Services

New hosted solution model and customer migration plan make it easy and affordable for customers to adopt PhoenixSoft’s leading communications platform

Miami, Florida – February 3, 2009:† PhoenixSoft, the leading provider of next-generation communications platforms for converged networks, today announced a hosted solution model and a new NACT migration plan, that are designed to make it easier for service providers to IP-enable their networks and increase revenues through new services.

PhoenixSoft’s Cirrus Softswitch brings advanced functionality to any legacy, TDM or VoIP environment. It helps service providers maximize revenue by adding the most sought-after Class 5 features, and applications like prepaid calling card services; pin-less dialing; wholesale routing; voice mail; online payment processing; and customizable billing solutions for call rating, provisioning, customer care, and accounts receivables.

PhoenixSoft announced today that Cirrus is currently available on a hosted basis, giving service providers access to all of the Cirrus functionality, at a fraction of the cost. The hosted model includes PhoenixSoft’s high-touch, 24-X-7 support, for tailoring applications to meet individual service provider needs. This support addresses all of the management issues associated with the Cirrus Softswitch – including power requirements, Internet backbone issues, and connectivity to all the major co-location facilities in the country – so that service providers can focus on their business, and their customers.

Over time, customers can move from the hosted model to purchase the Cirrus Softswitch and take it in-house as their business needs change.

“We’re seeing a lot of demand from service providers that want our world-class functionality, but do not have the current customer base to justify a purchase,” said PhoenixSoft co-founder Warren Mattingly. “The reason Service Providers like Cirrus is because it provides the applications they need to grow their business. Through the hosted model, we can scale the solution as needed; we can sell it to our customers over time; or we can host it indefinitely – to accommodate whatever needs our customers may have.”

New migration program For NACT customers:† †

Since the beginning of the year, PhoenixSoft has successfully migrated several former NACT customers seeking to IP-enable their network, to the Cirrus platform. PhoenixSoft has created a turnkey migration path – complete with rate plans, applications, CRD, database, customer information, and financial reporting – to ensure a smooth transition.

NACT customers who are interested in IP-enabling their networks, moving to SIP, or adding any IP-based applications, should contact Paul Amick at pamick@phoenixsoft.com to learn more about the migration program.
