OKI Data Americas has introduced the C831TS, a new compact digital color printer specifically designed for textile transfer printing.
The C831TS prints on transfer sheets that can be used with a variety of fabric substrates. It features enhanced high definition color printing and Single Pass Color technologies with a straight-through paper path, boasting results that would ordinarily require expensive specialty media printing processes.
Other features of the C831TS include:
- Full color printing at up to 8 ppm on 8.5 x 11-inch transfer media, and up to 6 ppm on 11 x 17-inch transfer media
- Multi-purpose feeder holds up to 100 sheets
- PostScript†3†and PCL†6 emulations
- Prints on media from 3 x 5-inches up to 11.6 x 52-inches
- HD color printing technology
- Two-year on-site limited warranty on the printer and five-year warranty on the LED printheads

The C831TS is available for limited distribution. It can be purchased from Graphics One LLC and ISW, and supports select Neenah, Forever, and GraphicsOne transfer media. In addition, the company is offering a special promotion – a free case of Fruit of the Loom t-shirts – for those who purchase a C831TS, C711WT, or pro920WT through September 30, 2015.
