Malwarebytes Appoints Raj Mallempati as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Elena Verna as Senior Vice President of Growth

Mallempati and Verna bring years of marketing and growth leadership to one of the fastest-growing companies in Silicon Valley

SANTA CLARA, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Malwarebytes, the leading advanced malware prevention and remediation solution, announced today a strategic expansion to its marketing department with Raj Mallempati joining as the company’s first SVP of Marketing and Elena Verna joining as the company’s first SVP of Growth. Both Mallempati and Verna bring more than 15 years of experience in product marketing, demand generation, business intelligence and overall growth marketing leadership.

Before Malwarebytes, Mallempati was Vice President of Global Marketing for MobileIron, the leader in enterprise security and management for mobile devices, apps and content. Prior to that, Mallempati served as the Vice President of Product Marketing and International Marketing at MobileIron and Vice President of Product Marketing at Riverbed Technology. Mallempati held several marketing and business leadership positions at VMware and Adobe. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

Prior to that, Verna held several additional leadership positions at SurveyMonkey including Vice President of Product Growth and Analytics, Senior Director of Growth and Analytics, Director of Product Marketing and Analytics and Manager of Business Intelligence. Before SurveyMonkey, Verna worked as a Senior Analyst of Marketing Strategy for Safeway, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of California, Berkley.
