LiveAction Acquires LivingObjects’ Network Monitoring Platform

Launches Service Provider Division and Introduces “LiveSP” Product to Support Market Demand

LiveAction, a provider of IT network management, visualization, and analytics software announced it has acquired the service provider network monitoring technology of LivingObjects, a Toulouse-France based software development company. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The acquisition enables LiveAction to expand its technology offerings to further support service providers and their enterprise customers through the formation of a Service Provider business unit and the introduction of LiveSP (Service Provider). LiveSP is a cloud-first, multi-tenant, highly scalable network performance monitoring platform specifically built to meet the demands of Service Providers. LiveSP features customized reports on network KPIs while supporting application visibility and SD-WAN monitoring for IWAN, Viptela, Nuage, and others.

“The LivingObjects team has deep roots in the Service Provider industry and we have been impressed by their attention to detail and desire to deliver the highest level of customer experience. These values are very much aligned to those of LiveAction and we are thrilled and to have them join the team,” said Darren Kimura, executive chairman, LiveAction.

LiveSP complements LiveAction’s LiveNX (Network Experience) network management and diagnostics platform for large enterprises to solve the visibility and analytics challenges of managing hybrid networking platforms.

“The introduction of LiveSP continues our evolution of LiveAction’s technology portfolio and is designed to address a clearly emerging segment of the market,” said Walter Scott, chief executive officer, LiveAction.

The entire LivingObjects Network Monitoring team joins LiveAction as part of its new Service Provider business unit. LivingObjects’ founder and CEO Bertrand Le Marec joins LiveAction’s executive leadership as the Head of the Service Provider team reporting to Darren Kimura.

“Service providers must differentiate their product offerings to retain and acquire new customers,” said Bertrand Le Marec. “Our joining LiveAction enables us to take the LiveSP platform to the next level with more resources. Together LiveSP and LiveNX deliver a more powerful and compelling platform for all enterprises.”

The teams in the US and Europe are being cross-trained on both the LiveNX and LiveSP platforms to provide true global coverage for LiveAction’s growing worldwide customer base.
