IT distributor Jenne Inc. has signed an agreement with software-configurable meeting room control solutions provider AMX. The agreement will enable Jenne to distribute AMX’s complete line of Enova DVX meeting room appliances and Modero X-Series touch panels.
AMX’s solution is appliance-based and software-enabled, which can be deployed to complement existing unified communications products, including those from Avaya and LifeSize.
According to a Jenne press release submitted to ChannelPro-SMB, Jenne will be supporting the AMX solution with a product manager, who will serve as a liaison between its technical services and sales associates and AMX. Additionally, Jenne will work with its resellers to introduce them to and train them on the AMX Enova platform so they can identify opportunities and take the solution to their customers.
“AMX’s appliance-based configurable meeting room control solutions are a perfect complement to our unified communications portfolio,” says Vince Piccolomini, Jenne Inc.’s vice president of business development. “AMX’s Enova will enable our customers to deliver a complete end-to-end solution with full deployments and integration of all A/V and collaboration tools.”
Moreover, AMX’s line of configurable meeting room control appliances provides Jenne’s unified communications resellers with the ability to extend their offerings to include meeting room integration. This includes AMX’s RPM (Rapid Project Maker) cloud-based software to configure a meeting room.
Jenne, on the other hand, provides AMX with the ability to reach a broader market. As AMX’s distribution manager Jay Jenkins puts it, the agreement enables AMX can “offer VARs an integrated and unified platform that provides exceptional value as a one-stop-shop for their customers.”
