Cloud-based unified communications services provider InterCall (a subsidiary of West Corp.) has released the latest iteration of its InterCall Virtual Environments and Webcast Studio platform. With Version 10, InterCall aims to improve search capabilities and design aspects, and improve performance and administrative tools.†
“Over the past two years, InterCall has established a strong leadership position in virtual events,” say Mike Nessler, InterCall’s executive vice president of event services. “We’ve done it by delivering powerful features and functionality while keeping the user and administrative interfaces easy to use.”
Among the enhancements in InterCall Virtual Environments and Webcast Studio Version 10 are:
- Audience Engagement – Virtual Environments are now integrated with InterCall Unified Meeting to enable users to initiate Web meetings instantly from within their virtual environments.
- Access and Search – The video wall organizes and presents content visually. Related information can be stored together in a content group, such as a channel in which it is visible and easily retrieved. In addition, the information kiosk provides a clean display of content and access.
- New Look – With Version 10, the attendee view has been designed to enhance the user experience. A redesigned conference hall makes navigation more intuitive and adds a visual communication indicator and an embedded webcast player.
- Administrative Tools – Enhanced Q&A, moderated chat, webcast announcements, background templates and other features are designed to make Version 10 more flexible.
