The GXP2120 and GXP2100 desktop enterprise SIP telephones were designed for SMBs, and they feature business productivity applications, HD audio quality, and broad SIP interoperability with third-party SIP platforms and devices.

Grandstream Networks, maker of IP voice/video telephony and video surveillance solutions, has expanded HD telephony solutions for SMB enterprise communications. The company added to its GXP series of desktop enterprise SIP telephones with the new Grandstream GXP2120 and GXP2100 models.

Grandstream Networks Broadens Its GXP Series of HD Telephony SolutionsAccording to Grandstream, the new models were designed to “meet the need for crystal clear voice communication.” The new GXP models come packed with business productivity features and applications, HD audio quality, and broad SIP interoperability with third-party SIP platforms and devices.

The introduction of the GXP2120 and GXP2100 telephones add to Grandstream’s HD voice solutions, joining the recently introduced GXP2110. “Multiple desktop model options give SMBs the ability to select a HD telephone that best fits their size and need,” states a Grandstream Networks press release submitted to EH Publishing.

All GXP HD telephones come standard with large backlit graphic LCD display with support for multiple native languages (including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and pending shortly, Russian and Greek), four- or five-way conferencing, integrated Web applications, XML screen customization, PoE, HD wideband handset, headset jack, nearly all the popular voice codec (including wideband G.722 codec), strong security protection, broad interoperability with major SIP platforms, and IP PBXs, including Broadsoft, Metaswitch, Sonus, Avaya, Genband, Asterisk, etc.

In the near future, the company says, more advanced Web applications will be integrated via free firmware upgrade. In addition, an open Web service API will also be provided for advanced custom enterprise and Web application development.

Grandstream plans to introduce additional GXP HD phone models later this year.

The GXP2100 is available immediately for purchase now through Grandstream’s worldwide distribution channels at a MSRP of $119. The GXP2120 will be commercially available for purchase by the end of this month for a MSRP of $159.
