D&H Adds SkyKick And ConnectWise to Cloud Portfolio

SkyKick’s cloud migration and management services and ConnectWise’s line-of-business solutions for MSPs are the latest offerings available through the D&H Cloud Marketplace.

Distributor D&H has added SkyKick and ConnectWise, big names in cloud management and managed services respectively, to its cloud solution portfolio.

SkyKick’s core offering is designed to help MSPs and VARs migrate customers to the Microsoft Office 365 platform, a task offering a sizable opportunity across many verticals in the SMB business community. The SkyKick portfolio also includes email migration and backup for Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

“We’re excited to partner with D&H as they look to bring greater cloud revenues and profitability to solution providers in the SMB space by adding SkyKick’s number one MSP-rated Migration Platform and Cloud Backup to its Marketplace,” said SkyKick Vice President of Business Development Peter Labes in prepared remarks. “We look forward to working with D&H to transform the channel’s Office 365 CSP economics through the power of migration and cloud backup recurring revenue.”

ConnectWise, for its part, will be a major participant in D&H’s “Success Path to Cloud” initiative, an enablement program designed to help D&H partners transition from product sales to recurring revenue-producing managed services by launching and optimizing cloud practices. D&H will†also offer ConnectWise’s remote monitoring and management, security, and business automation solutions through its cloud portal.

“D&H is well known as a go-to distribution partner for the SMB market, facilitating a unique set of services,” said ConnectWise director of channel sales Keith Graham in an issued statement. “We anticipate a robust partnership with D&H as we enable their reseller partners to succeed in a services-led business while the IT economy continues to diverge away from commoditized transactions. Adopting the ConnectWise platform and ecosystem will be an important first step toward this success as VARs look to increase their productivity, efficiency, and profitability.”

Security vendors Webroot and ESET both joined the D&H cloud line card earlier this year alongside an existing roster of service providers that includes Microsoft, Axcient, Dropbox, Dropsuite, BitTitan, Nimble, PlumChoice, and Intermedia and covers everything from data migration and backup to cloud storage and hosted CRM services.

“D&H partners are looking for ways to monetize the cloud market opportunity, and increase profitability by leveraging the right tools and services,” said Jason Bystrak,†D&H’s vice president of cloud, in a press statement. “D&H is thrilled with the rate at which it’s been able to accelerate its cloud offering, adding major cloud providers. It speaks volumes that prominent driving forces in the MSP marketplace like ConnectWise and SkyKick are responding in kind, helping to evolve the business models of solution providers in this unique space.”

Bystrak, a long-time veteran of Ingram Micro, joined D&H in February. Since then his unit has launched an all-new cloud marketplace equipped with functionality for offering cloud solutions called “clusters” that mix products like Microsoft Office 365 with complementary systems in areas like security and BDR, plus management and help desk services from partners and D&H itself.

In an interview with ChannelPro last month, Bystrak described a forthcoming addition to the marketplace, currently in pilot mode, that will let partners add hardware—along with repairs, asset disposition, and other lifecycles services—to clusters. That functionality is expected to enter production shortly.
