Calyptix Offers Beta of SPS v1.0 for MSPs and IT Pros

The cloud-based “Single Pane of Glass” management platform centrally manages all networks that use an AccessEnforcer firewall security appliance.

Calyptix Security is now offering the Beta version of its “Single Pane of Glass” management platform, or SPS v1.0. SPS will provide a platform for IT professionals and MSPs to centrally manage all networks that use an AccessEnforcer firewall security appliance. AccessEnforcer is an all-in-one security appliance tailored to work with Microsoft’s Small Business Server.

SPS does this without any new hardware, software or integration, as it is a cloud-based service offering. IT professionals have access to immediate visibility, security, management, and alerting across all of their networks. With SPS, IT professionals can offer enhanced management services, such as 24×7 monitoring and alerting and proactive alerting. For small business that rely on the Internet, cloud services, and regulatory requirements, these service levels are critical.

Ben Yarbrough, Calyptix CEO says “our partners were asking for a cloud-based solution. We are offering partners the opportunity to offer managed security at a low cost. SPS is a big milestone for us.”

Calyptix is enrolling partners in its beta program at no charge. The Beta program delivers a platform to accelerate development of enhanced functionality through collaboration with participants. Benefits include:

  • Receive real time alerts with actionable intelligence
  • Increase service level efficiency
  • Offer pro-active security services
  • Improve client service
  • Allow greater mobility
  • Expand MSP network and security service offerings
  • Deliver services immediately
  • Avoid big up front investments
  • Eliminate integration headaches
  • Minimize upfront learning curve
  • Generate more sales and profits

“For partners new to managed security we enable them to start monitoring the edge of their customer’s network, then get deeper into it and offer more services and drive additional revenue” says Yarbrough.
