Autotask Announces Backup Solution Partner Program

Members will receive dedicated account management and fixed-cost licensing that gives them fine-tuned control over margins, as well as access to a consolidated management interface.

Managed services software maker Autotask Corp. has rolled out a partner program for resellers of its end point backup solution.

Announced on the eve of the East Greenbush, N.Y.-based vendor’s second annual European partner conference, to be held April 9th to the 11th in Amsterdam, the new program offers dedicated account management and fixed-cost licensing that lets resellers set margins on BDR services with precision.

Members also receive access to Endpoint Backup Manager, a consolidated management interface for BDR deployments, as well as a range of sales, marketing, and technical resources.

“Data has always been one of the most valued assets for a business and the need to protect it from the many potential security threats, including theft and ransomware, with a reliable, secure and accessible cloud backup solution is critical,” said Len DiCostanzo, Autotask’s senior vice president for channel development, in a press statement. “Our Autotask Endpoint Backup Partner Program is designed to help service providers address this need with clients while taking advantage of the growing market opportunity for secure endpoint backup and expanding their managed services bundles profitably.”

Autotask Endpoint Backup debuted at the vendor’s U.S. partner event last September. The partner program for that solution arrives roughly a month after BDR rival Datto Inc. introduced a revamped version of its partner program with new tiers and benefits.
