Atera and ESET Integrate Solutions to Simplify Security Software and License Management

MSPs can now access ESET’s dashboard from inside the Atera platform, and activate, provision, or deploy ESET products as well.

Managed services software maker Atera has forged an alliance agreement and integration pact with ESET to help MSPs deploy advanced anti-malware solutions to their customers.

“As cyberattacks increase in sophistication and frequency, it is important that we partner with cybersecurity leaders like ESET to offer proactive protection against the toughest malware, and arm customers against zero-day threats,” said Atera CEO Gil Pekelman in a media statement. “ESET’s multi-layered approach to threat detection as well as response, including threat intelligence feeds, endpoint detection and response and advanced cloud sandboxing, helps our partners minimize their attack surface and address the growing threat landscape. The resulting integrated offering represents a tremendous opportunity for Atera and its global customer base.”

ESET’s security solutions are server-free, cloud-based systems designed to provide real-time intelligence and threat monitoring assistance. Thanks to the integration with Atera, MSPs can now access ESET’s dashboard—which includes license management, reporting, and customer site administration capabilities—from inside the Atera platform.

Atera users can also now activate, provision, and deploy ESET products without switching among interfaces. Four solution tier packages are available: ESET PROTECT Entry, ESET PROTECT Advanced, ESET PROTECT Compete, and ESET PROTECT Enterprise.

“We’ve been impressed with Atera’s growth trajectory and are pleased to partner with them to support the needs of IT professionals across the globe,” said Ryan Grant, ESET’s vice president of sales for North America, in prepared remarks. “Atera’s development team has worked tirelessly to ensure a best-in-class integration that enhances the customer experience for IT professionals by reducing complexity and providing proactive threat detection and response. We are committed to growing together, serving our customers and expanding the integration over time.”

Atera announced an integration with OpenAI last month to help technicians generate scripts more rapidly. The company unveiled another integration between its RMM solution and Malwarebytes OneView, a multi-tenant management console for the Malwarebytes Nebula product family, last July.

ESET shipped an MSP edition of its Inspect Cloud XDR solution last September.
