The Alliance of Channel Women Names 2020 Leadership Team

ACW Board Selects Amy Bailey of Telarus as President and Cassie Jeppson of Lenovo as Vice President

SANTA ANA, Calif. (PRWEB) October 31, 2019

Alliance of Channel Women, a not-for-profit organization focused on accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, announced a new president and vice president to lead the ACW Board of Directors.

Longtime ACW board member and committee chair Amy Bailey, Vice President of Marketing at Telarus, is ACW’s new President. Bailey has been a member of the ACW Board of Directors since 2017 and is the Chair of the Sponsorship Committee. Previously, she served as Co-chair and then Chair of the Education Committee.

Bailey succeeds Stacy Conrad, Director of Channel Sales, South East for TPx Communications, who held the role for the past two years.

ACW also tapped Cassie Jeppson, Director of North America Channel Programs at Lenovo, as its new vice president. Jeppson has served on the ACW board as Secretary since the start of 2019 and is a member of the Tech Committee.

Jeppson succeeds Rebecca Rosen, Vice President of Marketing at Broadvoice, who held the position as Vice President of ACW for the past two years.

“We are thrilled to have leaders with Amy’s and Cassie’s experience serving as our new president and vice president,” said Conrad. “Both women will lead the way forward to grow ACW, while ensuring we continue to provide education and expertise to our members and expand their voice in the rapidly changing technology channel.”

Bailey and Jeppson will assume their new positions starting January 1, 2020.

“ACW has been a touchstone for me since I started working in the channel,” said Bailey. “I’m thankful for this community of women and excited to give back as the steward of our mission and vision for the next two years. I’ve had an excellent role model in Stacy Conrad and am looking forward to building on the programs, such as Local Chapters, that she championed for our members. Thank you, Stacy, for your example and your leadership.”

“Since joining the board this year, I’ve heard from so many ACW members about how they value this organization and its impact on their careers,” said Jeppson. “I’m honored to step up as vice president to ensure vital programs continue. I’m filling big shoes in Rebecca Rosen, who over many years has made a lasting impact on our organization, pioneering several chair roles and jumpstarting our nascent Advocacy Program. On behalf of the ACW, I thank her for her leadership and continued service to channel women.”

ACW stands by the principle of rotating leadership not only to bring new thought leaders to the group but to provide leadership opportunities to as many members as possible.
