Accelerated Launches the 6310-DX, a Secure LTE Business Router that Helps Reduce Network Downtime

Affordable, Secure Primary or Backup LTE Connectivity for Any Location

In advance of the ITExpo conference in Fort Lauderdale beginning February 13-16,†Accelerated Concepts, now part of Digi International, a leading global provider of Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity products and services, adds the 6310-DX LTE Router to its robust line of connectivity products. As Accelerated’s latest entry level router, the Accelerated 6310-DX provides primary and failover LTE connectivity with advanced features usually associated with higher priced offerings.

With the 6310-DX, small businesses, convenience stores, retail chains and other organizations can add instant and reliable business continuity to any location, while protecting their investments from network disruptions. The DX utilizes Accelerated’s powerful suite of†CORE 1002-CM Plug-In LTE modems, which feature dual SIM cards and Carrier Smart Select. The upgradeable 6310-DX makes it easy to take advantage of rapidly evolving LTE standards by swapping out the CORE 1002-CM Plug-In modem without the associated expense of a full router replacement.

The 6310-DX is designed to support the enterprise needs of the latest generation of connected devices that require reliable network availability, including POS systems, mobile kiosks and digital signage. Certified across all four U.S.†major carriers, the 6310-DX gives customers the ability to select the best carrier for a given location. By adding the 6310-DX to a network, any Ethernet device can utilize fast and convenient LTE cellular connectivity, and the 6310-DX can be located or mounted where the cellular reception is the strongest.

“Regardless of the size of the network and the type of business, downtime negatively impacts productivity, disrupts business services and causes financial losses,” said Rick Gretsch, Vice President of Product Management at Accelerated. “We are proud to offer the 6310-DX router which meets our goals of being affordable, fast and easy to install, reliable and remotely managed. The 6310-DX makes headaches related to downtime a thing of the past.”

Businesses can fully manage the 6310-DX through†Accelerated View, a cloud management portal that features proactive alerts, centralized configuration, remote firmware updates and location services with minimal data usage. Accelerated View allows for unlimited scalability as well as complete control over security and accessibility of Accelerated devices. Whether a business has one or 10,000 locations, the 6310-DX can be fully managed through zero-touch device monitoring and management.

6310-DXs come with an optional Remote Mounting Kit that includes a battery pack, allowing site surveys to determine the best signal strength location, a Passive Power over Ethernet injector for remote power, and a variety of mounting accessories designed to ensure the 6310-DX is placed for optimal performance.

Starting at $299, the 6310-DX will be available for general purchase in February 2018.†
