IT and Business Insights for SMB Solution Providers

HTG Peer Groups' Emergency Response Network Establishes Itself in the Channel

Zenith Infotech makes a major donation, helping the Hands that Give program pursue its mission of aiding channel pros in need.

It's been clear for some time now that HTG Peer Groups benefit from the shared wisdom of their members. Channel pros trade tips, settle on standards, and bounced around ideas. Now, it seems, the groups are helping each other “weather” natural catastrophes, too.

This past spring, Hands that Give was founded as an emergency response program for the IT channel, offering financial aid and in-kind services to HTG Peer Group members. Now, Channel Pro-SMB longtime partner Zenith Infotech has boosted the new program by donating $50,000, making the company a “Visionary” partner, the highest level, according to Hands that Give.

“Zenith's support of the Hands that Give program is a natural extension of our commitment to help IT solution providers run better, more successful companies,” states Barb Burk, Zenith's vice president of marketing in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.

Other Hands That Give contributors include HP, Mitel, SonicWALL, Eaton, Intronis, Level Platforms and Microsoft.
