VaporStream Software Offers ‘Off-the-Record’ Digital Communications
The Electronic Conversion Software offers text-based communications that cannot be forwarded, shared, printed, or stored, making it ideal for some government, health care, and legal services sectors.
An emerging trend in electronic communications is so-called “off-the-record” email. These email communications cannot be tracked or documented. For highly private communications–such as those in the government, health care, and legal sectors—it makes sense to send communications that cannot be forwarded, shared, printed, or stored.
The pioneer in this email communications category might well be VaporStream Electronic Conversion Software, which was recently named “Cool Vendor in Healthcare Provider” by analyst firm Gartner Inc.
“It is estimated that 1 in 5 outgoing emails contain content that poses a legal, financial, or regulatory risk for businesses and their employees,” states VaporStream in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB. With VaporStream software, however, the digital communication “remains with the respondent and avoids miscommunication.”
VaporStream operates in software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode and integrates with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, and all major mobile platforms like BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, iPhone, etc. Unlike email, which is “electronic documentation” VaporStream emails are safe, secure, and intentionally not stored or documented.
A VaporStream conversation uses 256 bit encryption. It resides in RAM, and the head and body are separated in transit.
