Monitoring services provider Circonus has entered into a partnership with Eucalyptus Systems, developers of a popular on-premises cloud “infrastructure as a service” platform.
According to David Butler, Eucalyptus’ vice present of marketing, the partnership provides Eucalyptus Systems cloud users “real-time dashboarding, alerting, and analytics on their IT and business operations in private cloud or hybrid cloud environments.”

Eucalyptus Systems provides cloud computing solutions to MSPs that enable them to share and manage data center infrastructures while also reducing costs. Specifically designed for cloud infrastructure as a service use, the Eucalyptus Systems software platform facilitates both private and hybrid cloud computing.
Circonus Unified Monitoring handles all types of data — servers, switches, databases, applications, web metrics, business metrics, etc. Its visualizations, including its fully-configurable dashboard, present information for data-driven decision making. Circonus’ correlations, alerting, and playable graphs enable real-time critical troubleshooting and rapid NOC response.
By partnering with Circonus, Eucalyptus Systems provides its customer base (made up of more than 25,000 clouds worldwide) a unified system that eliminates silos and provides cohesive internal and external monitoring of all of an organization’s data.
