ASUS Releases Striker GTX 760 Platinum Graphics Card

New graphics card boasts DirectCU II cooling, CoolTech fan technology, DIGI+ VRM, and Super Alloy Power components to deliver performance that is up to 10% faster than reference.

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has released the Striker GTX 760 Platinum, a new gaming graphics card powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 graphics-processing unit, 4GB of high-speed GDDR5 memory, and engineered with exclusive cooling and power-stabilizing technologies.

Sporting ROG’s signature red-and-black livery and the color-coded ROG LED load indicator, Striker GTX 760 Platinum graphics card includes DirectCU II cooling, CoolTech fan, DIGI+ voltage-regulator module (VRM), and Super Alloy Power components to ensure cooler, faster, quieter gaming with great overclocking potential.

Striker GTX 760 Platinum’s base speed is 1085MHz. When boosted, the clock can be turned all the way to 1150MHz –105MHz and 117MHz faster than reference.

The card features a streamlined body and a bold heat-pipe — evidence of the DirectCU II cooling technology within. This puts highly-conductive 10mm copper cooling pipe in direct contact with the Striker GTX 760 Platinum’s GPU, dissipating heat. Striker GTX 760 Platinum also boasts CoolTech fan technology. The CoolTech fan employs a hybrid blade and bearing design, with inner radial blower, and outer flower-type blades to provide multi-directional airflow that accelerates heat removal.

To aid overclocking adventures, Striker GTX 760 Platinum includes GPU Tweak. This utility gives users intuitive control over GPU and video-memory clock speeds and voltages, cooling-fan speeds, and power targets. The GPU Tweak Streaming tool allows users to share on-screen action over the internet in real time — so others can watch live as games are played. Users can also add a title to the streaming window along with scrolling text, pictures, and webcam images.

Specifications of the Striker GTX 760 Platinum graphics card include:

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
  • PCI Express 3.0
  • OpenGL 4.3
  • 4096MB (4GB) GDDR5 memory
  • 1085MHz (1150MHz boosted) core speed
  • 6008MHz memory clock
  • 1152 CUDA cores
  • 256-bit memory interface
  • 1 x dual-link DVI-I output
  • 1 x dual-link DVI-D output
  • 1 x HDMI output
  • 1 x DisplayPort 1.2 output
  • Power cable and SLI bridge included
  • GPU Tweak and driver
  • Resolutions up to 2560 x 1600 pixels

ROG Striker GTX 760 Platinum will be available April 2014. Contact your local ASUS representative for further information.
