Toshiba Adds 7th Generation Intel Processors to Mobile Solutions Portfolio

IRVINE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Toshiba’s Client Solutions Division (CSD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the addition of the 7th Generation IntelÆ Core processors to its line of high-performance, business-class mobile computing devices. The Toshiba Windows-based notebooks now available with Intel’s newest processors are the 13.3-inch Portege A30, 14-inch Tecra A40 and Tecra C40 as well as the 15.6-inch Tecra A50, Tecra C50 and the Tecra Z50. The adoption of this Intel technology promises to deliver advancements in security, performance, productivity, manageability and streamlined connectivity.

PortégéÆ A30
The PortégéÆ A30 laptop is a compact 13.3-inch laptop that delivers the enterprise performance users require, with the price and performance value modern budgets demand. Further boosting productivity, the Portégé A30 includes a built-in optical drive1, docking capability, a user-removable battery, a wide variety of storage options, plus a touchpad and AccupointÆ pointing system. Toshiba is so confident in the laptop’s reliability; select models of the Portege A30 will include the Toshiba Quality Replacement Guarantee2. Under this guarantee, Toshiba will replace the unit with a new laptop if the LCD panel, hard drive, memory or system board fails within the first year of ownership.

Tecra A40 & Tecra A50
Toshiba’s TecraÆ A40 (14-inch display) and Tecra A50 (15.6-inch display) are the company’s mainstream laptops that provide enterprise-class performance at an affordable price point. Both notebooks feature built-in optical drives, docking capabilities, touchpad and AccupointÆ pointing systems, as well as a wide variety of hard drive and storage options to give professionals with everything needed for enhanced on-the-go productivity. These notebooks are equipped with vibrant HD displays, spill-resistant, backlit keyboards3, user-replaceable batteries with excellent battery life ratings to provide hours of productivity for work in any setting. Tecra Z50

Common Docking and Accessories
