Tech Data's TechSelect Conference Kicks Off with a BOOST for Cisco Partners

It seems like only yesterday the ChannelPro Network was in sunny Orlando covering Lenovo's Accelerate Partner Conference... Wait! It was yesterday! Thanks to a little bit of planning and geographical convenience (not to mention a hankerin' for warm weather), ChannelPro gets to bring you a little bit of in-person coverage from not one, but TWO partner events back-to-back in the same area Mr. Mickey Mouse calls home.

Tech Data's TechSelect Partner Conference kicked off earlier today at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, and right off the bat the distributor has announced some new programs to its Momentum education and enablement tool, dubbed Core and BOOST (building on our strategic teams), which come hot on the heals of the recently introduced SMARTattach Opportunity Portal. Core and BOOST impart initial Cisco partner trainings, as well as personalized post-specialization enablement through the company's Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) division.

Core programs are custom-built for newly authorized Cisco partners, and offer a comprehensive training platform that includes a series of 30-minute webinars. Each webinar is focused on a specific topic that falls into one of the five Core pillars: Cisco 101, Partnering with Cisco, CCW Platform, Programs and Promotions, and Cisco Services. These pillars are designed to focus on valuable information that helps solution providers grow their Cisco practices, and are available to all Cisco partners.

BOOST, custom-built for Cisco partners with post-specializations, is exclusive to solution providers authorized by Cisco to advance staff knowledge and performance. Those applicable can leverage consultation services, case studies, business transformation workshops, industry experts, personalized sales enablement trainings, demand-generation tools, and mobility applications. These resources focus on the four main pillars: Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Services.

"These programs include customized value-added services to ensure success," sais Tech Data's Vice President, Product Marketing, Angie Beltz.  "Whatever level of Cisco certification obtained by solution providers, we are offering enablement tools every step of the way as part of Momentum."

Both Core and BOOST are now available through the recently overhauled Tech Data Cisco Dashboard, which also includes access hundreds of training and product videos via the Tech Data Cisco media library.
