Tech Data Signs Distribution Agreement with Saratoga Speed to Help Solution Providers Capitalize on Big and Fast Data

Saratoga Speed’s all-flash storage arrays offer unprecedented performance for storage and analysis of “big and fast” data sets.

Tech Data Corporation has signed a distribution agreement with Saratoga Speed, a developer of all-flash storage arrays, to provide its full portfolio of products to the technology distributor’s channel of solution providers in the United States. Offered through Tech Data’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) division, Saratoga Speed’s all-flash storage arrays are designed to address the unprecedented requirement for storage and analysis of “big and fast” data sets, boasting unmatched performance, density, capacity, and versatility for end users.

“Tech Data is committed to providing cutting-edge technology and services to the channel,” says Chuck Bartlett, senior vice president, AIS at Tech Data. “Our agreement with Saratoga Speed is another reflection of this commitment. The all-flash arrays are purpose-built from the ground up to deliver a uniquely diverse and flexible platform that satisfies a multitude of high-performance data challenges. We are very excited about this agreement and the potential opportunity it creates for both Tech Data and our reseller community.”

Saratoga Speed arrays can ingest, process, and store hundreds of terabytes of data at speeds of tens of gigabytes per second, within two or three rack-unit (RU) chassis. A single Saratoga Speed array can replace multiple racks of equipment, offering a competitive advantage for solution providers. The all-flash arrays are also designed to complement existing deployments, with no additional certification or infrastructure investment required. This enables solution providers to help end users expand the performance of legacy all-flash array investments, extend the usable life of aging infrastructure, and increase scalability options for phased deployment.

Saratoga Speed arrays are available for virtual or personal demonstration in Tech Data’s Solutions Center, an IT solutions lab located at the company’s headquarters in Clearwater, Florida. To speak with an AIS representative about Saratoga Speed products, call (800) 237-8931, ext. 83419 or email saratoga-speed@techdata.com.
