Tech Data Corp., the Clearwater, Fla.-based broad-line distributor, has signed an agreement with LearnQuest of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., to provide training resources for its Apple portfolio of products.
LearnQuest, which is an Apple Authorized Global Training Provider, will offer individual, enterprise, and technical education for iOS and MacOS products, as well as Final Cut Pro X and Logic Pro X courses for creative professionals and technician training for students preparing for the Apple Certified Mac Technician and Apple Certified iOS Technician certification exams.
“Apple is one of Tech Data’s largest and most strategic vendor partners, and LearnQuest provides our partners with comprehensive training on their portfolio of products,” said Maurice Hamilton, Tech Data’s vice president of technical services, in a press statement. “Training and education are critical to the success of our channel partners, and we’re proud to partner with LearnQuest, the leader in Apple training, to help our solution providers develop their competencies with Apple products and differentiate their value in a competitive market.”
The new offerings will be available to resellers in the U.S. via Tech Data’s Advanced Infrastructure Solutions division.

Tech Data’s alliance with LearnQuest is the latest in a recent string that includes agreements to provide security training with KnowBe4, data protection with Veeam, Internet of Things solutions with Dell and Nexiona, and turnkey mobile apps with Kony.
