SanDisk X110 SSD Provides Flash Storage for ASUS Ultrabook

SanDisk SSD brings speed and responsiveness to ASUS ZENBOOK UX301LA.

The ASUS ZENBOOK UX301LA Ultrabook now features the compact SATA 6GBps SanDisk X110 Solid State Drives (SSD), which provides improved boot-up and shut-down times, and quicker entrance and return from hibernation to the ASUS notebooks.

The ASUS notebook boasts both a slim design and high-performance, touch screen enabled computing. It includes two thin and light-weight M.2 2260 form-factor SanDisk X110 SSDs (offered in either 128GB or 256GB capacities) connected together in a RAID 0 configuration, which allows the drives to be written to simultaneously. This brings up to 512GB of flash storage to the notebook, while supporting the thin look of the ASUS Ultrabook. Additionally, the X110 SSDs offer automated power management, including DEVSLP capability, enabling mobile computing users to experience high performance, without sacrificing battery life.

“SanDisk’s fast X110 SSD brings a responsive, dependable, and enjoyable user experience to our new ZENBOOK while the small form factor of the SSDs helped to keep the notebook slim, light-weight, and highly portable,” said S.Y. Shian, corporate vice president and general manager, Notebook Business Unit, ASUS.

The SanDisk X110 SSD is available to PC OEMs and in large quantities to businesses through the SanDisk Commercial Business Channel. The SanDisk X110 SSD is part of SanDisk’s wide portfolio of SSD products for retail, OEM, and enterprise customers.
