The Fremont, Calif.-based company’s Viper 3 Low Profile Series offers the same performance of its Viper 3 brand, with frequencies of up to 2,133MHz. The Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile Series measures 1.25 inches in height, providing excellent clearance for large CPU coolers. This additional clearance enables performance tuning by delivering a heat shield that does not limit CPU cooling options and provides thermal dissipation to extend the lifetime of the modules.
These modules provide full support for Intel’s Extreme Memory Profile (Intel XMP); install the Viper 3 Low Profile Series modules in any XMP 1.3-enabled system and it will automatically select the maximum overclocking performance.
