Panasonic Launches Next-Generation IP-based Communications Server for Growing Enterprises

The KX-NSX2000 offers advanced IP networking and vast scalability for real-time and reliable communication across multiple locations

Panasonic System Communications Company of North America, Division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, announced the KX-NSX2000, a next generation, IP-based business communications server designed to support growing enterprises in need of a flexible solution. Designed to offer seamless communication across numerous locations, the KX-NSX2000 leverages advanced IP networking technology to manage up to 2,000 devices with connectivity for up to 32 sites, providing the flexibility and scalability needed for small- to medium-sized businesses.

Equipped with centralized management and remote maintenance solutions, the KX-NSX2000 can be managed from a single location, eliminating the need for an administrator at every office site. The solutions come standard with additional features, including a built-in call center with advanced call routing, unified messaging, and redundancy, making it ideal for organizations in need of real-time and reliable communications solutions across many industries. The result provides an efficient solution that enables businesses to remain competitive in today’s global business landscape while reducing operating costs and other expenses.

“The KX-NSX2000 was built with the user in mind, enabling the always-on connectivity that small- to medium-sized businesses require to deliver outstanding service and exceed customer expectations,” said Gary Moeller, product manager of unified communications at Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. “Today, businesses expect communication, information availability and business decisions to happen instantaneously, and we’re excited to bring a solution to our customers that will empower them to deliver on those promises regardless of where they are.”

Panasonic is unveiling and demonstrating this latest technology at booth #832 during Enterprise Connect 2018 at the Gaylord Palms Convention Center, from Monday, March 12 through Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

Key Features:

  • Multi-connection system and centralized management†gives growing businesses the ability to make calls between offices as internal calls and manage tasks from a single sign-on, simplifying management across sites. The solution also offers Lightweight Directory Access Protocol to give users access to directory services, which helps increase access to people and sites.
  • Reliable backup system†enables communication to continue if network trouble occurs with a multi-site connection. A Panasonic KX-NS series PBX at each site in a multi-connection system can operate as a standalone system.
  • DECT wireless handsets and mobile phone integration†reduce customer wait times and ensure they speak to the right person at the right time. Users can easily switch between desk phones and portable devices during conversations by connecting mobile phones as office extensions, allowing them to maintain the same identity and caller ID.
  • An optional built-in call center†offers call monitoring and call history reports that provide a better understanding of challenges or opportunities relating to customer service. Users can automatically record and backup customer conversations with the KX-NSX, allowing supervisors to understand customer service issues and opportunities.
