MSI debuts its first Intel Bay Trail based Mini-ITX motherboard, the MSI J1800I. The new motherboard is equipped with a 22 nm Dual Core Intel Celeron Processor and Intel HD graphics. The J1800I is designed for low power consumption using only 10 watts, and includes a passive cooling solution.
The MSI J1800I motherboard contains a variety of multimedia solutions such as H.264 hardware decoding, support for 1080p video, Blu-ray playback, and 8-channel HD Audio through HDMI. It also comes with two DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM slots (up to 8 GB Dual Channel Memory), two SATA 3 Gb/s ports, one PCIe slot, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and HDMI 1.4a output.
The J1800I motherboard features Military Class 4 components including Hi-c Cap, SFC, and Solid CAPs. These key components have all passed the tests of MIL-STND-810G standard class which are performed by independent laboratory to ensure stable operation in the harshest environments.
Retail price for the MSI J1800I motherboard is expected to be around $60.
