Motive Systems Offers New Channel Program for M-Files

The program aims to enable VARs and MSPs to market and service the company’s electronic document management software in conjunction with their existing product portfolios.

Motive Systems, the developer of M-Files document management software, has created a new channel program aimed at VARs and MSPs that focus on business solutions for SMBs. The program enables channel partners to effectively market and service M-Files in conjunction with their existing product portfolios, generally as a complementary offering to existing software and hardware solutions.

“M-Files integrates easily with all the leading ERP, CRM, accounting software, as well as virtually any database, which means partners can easily tailor a high-performance document management solution for their customers,” says Scott Erickson, channel manager at Motive Systems

The M-Files Partner Program is comprised of a starter kit that includes licenses for resale, demo versions, training, and marketing and support assistance such as access to a partner portal from which sales tools, images, and other collateral can be downloaded. Membership in the program also entitles partners to receive qualified leads directly from Motive Systems.

Motive Systems also offers territory exclusivity for VARs that are the first to move into a metro area, based on qualifications and experience. The company provides channel partners with pre- and post-sales support as well. “For larger accounts, if desired, we will meet with the customer alongside our channel partner, which is especially useful for larger deployments or integrations,” Erickson says.

M-Files provides such document management features as search, automated version control, secure access permissions, document check-in and check-out, and support for email and scanners for managing paper documents, as well as connections to other office systems such as a CRM, accounting, or billing system.
