ManageEngine Extends Unified IT Monitoring Option to ITOM Suite

OpManager Plus Service Pack Covers All ITOM Point Products, Simplifies Adoption of All-in-One Monitoring.

November 17, 2016 01:30 PM Eastern Standard Time

PLEASANTON, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ManageEngine, the real-time IT management company, today announced the latest version of OpManager Plus, the company’s unified network management software. The company also announced the OpManager Plus service pack, which includes the latest versions of OpManager, NetFlow Analyzer, Firewall Analyzer, Network Configuration Manager and OpUtils. The OpManager Plus service pack lets IT teams upgrade their ITOM point products and simplify the transition to all-in-one network management.

OpManager Plus replaces the old OpManager plug-in model, which required customers to download individual plug-ins for flow-based traffic monitoring, configuration management, and IP address and switch port management. Now, OpManager Plus uses an add-on model to create a single product download that provides EXE-level integration of NetFlow monitoring, configuration management, firewall log analysis and compliance, IP address management, and switch port management.

“With most IT shops adopting a lean workforce, having fewer management tools is better for admins,” said Dev Anand, director of ManageEngine’s ITOM division. “It not only brings the total cost of ownership and maintenance footprint down but also allows them to focus on other business priorities. With this in mind, we have integrated all our network management products with OpManager Plus. Admins can now manage network performance, traffic, configuration changes, PCI compliance, DDoS attacks, IP addresses, and switch ports from a single console. The tighter integration of data and control helps them solve issues in real time.”

The latest version of OpManager Plus includes enhancements such as exporting flows from the web client, scheduling configuration backup for multiple devices, night mode for CCTV views, full-screen view for dashboards, and more. The new features help accelerate the troubleshooting of network faults. To learn how admins can find and troubleshoot router packet drop issues, watch the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=en5KunZ7g88.

To help IT organizations upgrade from OpManager 11.6 (and earlier versions) to OpManager Plus 12.2, ManageEngine will hold a webinar that walks attendees step-by-step through the upgrade process. Register for the webinar at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7203146243307005699.
