GIGABYTE Introduces Radeon R9 280 and R7 265 OC Edition

Gigabyte’s new OverClock Edition graphics cards include a WINDFORCE 3X cooling system.

GIGABYTE has introduced two new OverClock Edition graphics cards with WINDFORCE 3X cooling sytem — the GIGABYTE Radeon R9 280 (GV-R928WF3OC-3GD) and Radeon R7 265 (GV-R7265WF2OC-2GD). The WINDFORCE 3X cooling system is Gigabyte’s triple-fan solution with patented anti-turbulence inclined fans and three 8mm pure copper heat pipes. The combination of anti-turbulence inclined fans and pure copper heat pipes helps to reduce excessive heat and minimizes the flow of turbulence between fans. The “Triangle Cool” Technology enhances the speed of heat dissipation.

The Radeon R9 280 with 1792 GCN stream processor and 3 GB high-speed GDDR5 memory runs at 384-bit memory interface, and the Radeon R7 265 is equipped with 1024 GCN stream processor, 2 GB high-speed GDDR5 memory, and 256-bit memory interface.

Both Radeon R7 265 and Radeon R9 280 are overclocked, and include features like DirectX 11.2, AMD PowerTune, CrossFire technology. For more details about GIGABYTE Radeon R7 265 and Radeon R9 280, visit gigabyte.com.
