TechShop, a membership-based, do-it-yourself workshop and fabrication studio, today announced that Intel Corporation is its newest corporate sponsor. The companies plan to collaborate on a series of workshops giving thousands of TechShop members hands-on access to Intel technology. The workshops will feature Intel’s recently announced IntelÆ Galileo, the first in a line of Arduino-compatible development boards based on IntelÆ architecture. This sponsorship reflects Intel’s commitment to encourage innovation whether it takes place in a corporation, a classroom, a garage, or (the ultimate garage) a TechShop.
