ASUS Rolls Out Transformer Book Chi Series

The 2-in-1 detachable notebooks transform from thin laptops to razor-thin Windows 8.1 tablets.

ASUS has introduced the new Transformer Book Chi Series, a family of razor-thin 2-in-1 detachable Windows notebooks that transform between a laptop and handheld tablet. The notebooks, comprised of three models, T300 Chi, T100 Chi, and T90 Chi, feature a fan-less design and are available with either Intel Core M or Atom processors.


T300 Chi

  • 12.5-inch full HD (1920×1080) or WQHD (2560×1440) display
  • Intel Core M processor
  • Profile measures 1.65cm when docked
  • Prices start at $799 for WQHD version, $699 for FHD version

T100 Chi

  • 10.1-inch WUXGA (1920×1200) display
  • Intel Atom processor
  • Profile measures 7.2mm
  • Prices start at $399

T90 Chi

  • 8.9-inch WXGA (1280×800) display
  • Intel Atom processor
  • Profile measures 7.5mm
  • Prices start at $299

  • IPS displays with ASUS TruVivid technology for wide viewing angles
