The AppStack Express Appliance is a turnkey cloud application platform designed to enable faster and simpler point-and-click management of cloud applications.
Sold exclusively by certified channel partners, the AppStack Express Appliance enables on-demand app deployment. It provides an integrated private cloud based on Citrix CloudPlatform and the Xen Hypervisor along with the AppStack Express Edition packaged onto a compact 3U dual server chassis with integrated flash and hard disk storage.
Through the integrated App Marketplace, the appliance enables SMBs to choose from over 85 packaged software applications and deploy them in minutes. App deployment to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud is also supported from the appliance.
The AppStack software includes:
- AppStack Express software license, with support for app deployments in the integrated Citrix CloudPlatform cloud. AppStack is Citrix Ready Cloud Verified.
- App deployments in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud.
- Integrated Xen hypervisor virtualization layer.
- AppStack 3U hardware appliance, with dual redundant, servers hosting AppStack, CloudPlatform, and Xen Hypervisors with 20 integrated HDD and Flash disk drives for VM, database, and file storage.
The AppStack Express appliance incorporates AppStack’s model-based approach, capturing and defining important application states and components, such as the tiers they occupy, relationships, and dependencies between components and configuration parameters, and then automatically maintains these over time in a configuration repository. Its application portal captures changes in real-time.
