AOC, a manufacturer of LCD/LED monitors and HDTVs, has released its new premium line of AOC gaming monitors, the AGON series, in the United States.
The series includes the AG271QX, a QHD gaming monitor with 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time as well as a native Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Priced at $599, the AG271QX also supports Adaptive-Sync technology designed to eliminate graphics tearing and stuttering, while also minimizing input lag.
The second monitor in the series, the AG271QG, is a 27-inch IPS display with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and 165Hz refresh rates. The IPS display with QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution boasts superior clarity and extra-wide viewing angles to keep everything in focus. The AGON AG271QG will be available in October for $799.
Both monitors in the series are designed specifically for the competitive gamer with AOC Flicker-Free Technology and the AOC Low Blue Light mode to help reduce eye strain and fatigue during long gaming sessions. The AOC AGON series’ ergonomic base provides comfort so gamers can adjust height, tilt and swivel, and is accurately marked by a scale, so gamers can jump back to their preferred settings. The monitor is also equipped with a carry-handle for easy transportation and a headphone holder to support the headset when not in use.
