All PCs are not created equal. Special jobs require special tools. After all, you wouldn't try to fix a car with a butter knife, would you?

MacGyvers aside, sometimes you need a PC that perfectly fits your occupation. GammaTech has such a PC for the heathcare field. It's called the A22i All-In-One PC.

The A22i is perfect for a doctor, nurse, or anyone else in a busy workspace. It has a slim design and low power consumption, so it can hang with you all day -- literally. The unit's tablet design, light weight, and integrated handle make it really easy to move around. It can also be docked using the device's VESA mounting capability.

Available for use with both Windows 7 and Windows 8, the A22i has a 22-inch, 10-point multi-touch capacitive screen with an Intel Ivy Bridge processor, Intel HD graphics, and a 2-megapixel webcam.

Other features include an Intel Mobile HM7x chipset with RAID support and internal mSATA storage that supports Intel Smart Response Technology, two DDR3 memory slots for up to 8GB of memory, and support for SATA 3.0. It also has built-in WiFi (with Bluetooth as an option), USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connectors, and reader slots for assorted flash cards.

GammaTech is making the A22i available to healthcare professionals, hospitals, group-purchasing organizations, government entities, and universities through authorized GammaTech resellers nationwide. It's available now, with a starting price of $1,499.
