Fonality, a provider of business phone systems and contact center solutions, and Yealink, a SIP phone provider, will partner to broaden Fonality's hardware phone portfolio with four additional phone models. The partnership provides customers with access to a provider of handsets in addition to existing handsets that Fonality already features. The new handsets are specifically featured in Fonality's unique Hybrid Hosted technology and will be available in the fourth quarter of 2013.
"More often, SMBs are seeing the benefits of Gigabit Ethernet, including its affordable infrastructure, increased speed, and reduced complexity," says Rosemarie Savino, vice president of product management with Fonality. "We're excited to expand our phone portfolio with these new handsets."
Small and midsize companies encounter many network challenges when supporting a large number of users or heavy data transfers. Phone systems can add bottlenecks, and create complication with phone and data networks. GigE reduces complexity by only requiring a single switch for phone and data networks.
