Corero Network Security, a Hudson, Mass.-based provider of network and application-layer Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) defense products, has enhanced its SecureWatch Partner Program.

The Secure Watch Partner Program enables channel partners and distributors to sell its solutions as part of a bundle with complementary products, such as firewalls. Corero's First Line of Defense solutions are designed to stop the increasing DDoS traffic and other “unwanted noise” at the perimeter.

Highlights of the enhanced SecureWatch Partner Program include:

  • Out-of-the-Box Funded Programs: Corero will fund partner-labeled events including webinars, lunch and learns, conferences, etc.
  • Evaluation Seed Program: The company will provide partners with no-cost evaluation units and dedicated support for customers to “try and buy” Corero's First Line of Defense solutions.
  • Incentive Programs: Discounts and promotions will be offered to channel partners; additional rebates will be available to partners offering Corero bundles to their end users.

Other features include dedicated, self-service partner portals, qualified lead forwarding, opportunity registration via the partner portal, and training and certification (instructor-led training, Web-based training, and on-site sales training).
