Centrify Corporation, which provides Unified Identity Services across the data center, cloud, and mobile environments, has added enhanced support for Red Hat Storage, delivering Active Directory-based authentication and single sign-on for users accessing file shares on Red Hat Storage. Organizations can now benefit from additional secure access to such files using native Windows protocols and leveraging Active Directory. The solution will be unveiled this week at Red Hat Summit 2013 at Centrify's Booth No. 1012.

Centrify DirectControl, a component of the Centrify Suite 2013 unified identity solution, enables Red Hat Linux systems, as well as more than 400 other versions of Linux, UNIX and Mac OS systems, to join an Active Directory domain. Centrify DirectControl's enhanced support for Red Hat Storage centrally secures and manages Red Hat Storage servers using the same authentication, access control, and Group Policy services leveraged for Windows systems.

Using Centrify, organizations reduce operational and helpdesk costs by centralizing account management within Active Directory, enabling standardization on a single set of tools and processes. Centrally managing access rights and privileges strengthens security and enforces consistent security policies across heterogeneous systems. Companies also simplify compliance reporting for PCI, SOX, FISMA and other regulations by linking all access rights and privileges to a single, definitive Active Directory identity.

The Centrify Suite is licensed on a per server basis and starts at $385 per server and $65 per workstation. For more information about the Centrify Suite and to request a free Centrify Suite 2013 trial, visit http://www.centrify.com/trial.
