PC hardware designer BitFenix Co. Ltd.'s new ATX chassis, Ronin, features enhanced cooling capabilities, DIY-friendly features, and unique styling.
With an all-black finish, Ronin's top and front panels are coated in BitFenix SofTouch Surface Treatment for stain resistance; micro-mesh strips act as additional ventilation.
A see-through acrylic window on the side panel allows enthusiasts to clearly see their hardware payload. And the Stealth Cover is an easy-to-install panel that covers up optical drives, hard disks, power supply, and cabling for a clean look.
On top, Ronin accommodates two 140mm fans or water cooling radiators up to 240mm in length. The chassis has two 120mm fan locations in front, one on the bottom, and one on the back panel. The included FlexCage is modular and removable, enabling direct airflow to the hottest hardware while allowing enough room for graphics cards up to 420mm in length. Also included are two 120mm Spectre fans and space for up to six 3.5-inch hard disks or2.5-inch SSDs.
DIY-friendly features include tool-free drive locking mechanisms and cable management locations. The large CPU cutout enables swapping of CPU coolers without removing the motherboard; also included are filtered front intakes and a magnetic bottom filter.
According to the Taiwan-based company, Ronin will be available on store shelves beginning mid-July.
