ASCII Baltimore Event Focuses on Sales

The June 13 ASCII event had a strong focus on sales education, with ASCII members, staff and event sponsors taking turns as teacher. By ChannelPro

The jam-packed ballroom at the BWI Marriott featured an engaging mix of partners, sponsors, subject matter experts and ASCII staff sharing best practices and the ChannelPro team was glad to be on site.

Motivational sales coach Gil Cargill presented two sessions during the day to a rapt audience: "Prospect Pitching to Win Online" and also "Building a Sales Pipeline." Gil's engaging style has made him a fixture at ASCII events over the past year.

ASCII staff are also playing a big role in events this year. Jean Alexander (VP Business Development), Jerry Koutavas (President) and Jessica Schroder (Marketing/Event Manager) each brought their considerable expertise to the podium in session themes that included branding and marketing yourself; finding hidden sales with partnerships; and tips on putting on your own local events to generate business.

Many of the industry's leading vendors were on hand to show off their solutions and the sponsor expo floor was really humming during the lunch break.

At every ASCII Success Summit the attendees get a chance to vote on sponsor awards and here are the results for the Baltimore event:
