Zenith Infotech Launches ‘NOC Service Miles’ Program for Partners

In the “NOC Service Miles” program, partners can redeem earned credits for project work to be completed by Zenith Infotech’s NOC after business hours.

Zenith Infotech, a remote monitoring and management (RMM) provider, has launched a new rewards program for partners, “NOC Service Miles.” The program allows Zenith partners to earn monthly service credits, which can be redeemed for after-hours project work to be executed by Zenith’s NOC, saving the partner time and money while boosting revenue.

Projects that can be completed under the program include:

  • Installing BlackBerry servers
  • Configuring or migrating Exchange
  • Installing software
  • Optimizing desktops
  • Troubleshooting applications

These projects are projects that should be done in the customer’s after hours/downtime. For Zenith Infotech partners, this means longer hours and more manpower if they were to do these jobs themselves. As it is, partners rely heavily on Zenith Infotech’s NOC, as many partners don’t have the resources to build their own NOCs. With this program, Zenith Infotech’s NOC has been dedicated to the “NOC Service Miles” program. Zenith Infotech taps into the customer’s system – as long as the customer’s computers are online and available – to complete the work for the partner, allowing partners to bill for more hours.

“The market in general is moving towards the cost of zero in terms of what they’re charging for the toolset that they use,” says Jason Jacobetz, director of sales at Zenith Infotech. “Instead of playing a price war with other RMM vendors, what we’re doing is enhancing the value of the service that we provide.”

Any partner is eligible, regardless of their current deployments. It’s free to start, but there will be a $99 monthly subscription fee to any partner who stays in or opts into the long term program. Credits are earned based on the current contracts, with varying numbers of credits based on the type of contract with the customer. Zenith Infotech also adds 20 service credits per month to each partner. According to Jacobetz, if a partner can successfully complete one desktop or server project a month, the program will pay for itself.
