Remote monitoring and management platform developer LabTech Software has rolled out an improved feature set for set and configuration. According to LabTech, the feature set “makes the out-of-the-box experience easier and increases time-to-value.”
LabTech Ignite is a pre-configured tool, designed to shorten implementation times and reduce learning curves. “Using pre-established, automated processes, and more fluid, task-driven navigation, any MSP can be up and running quickly and efficiently,” states LabTech in a press release submitted to Channel Pro-SMB.
LabTech Ignite includes a library of templates to set up common functions, like scripts, monitoring, alerts, searches, patch management, and reporting based on established MSP best practices. “With LabTech Ignite, all of your mission critical servers automatically inherit a variety of heath and performance monitors, based on industry best practices,” the press release states.
Its navigation console framework is location-centric, and it includes commonly used searches, default groupings, built-in MSP service plan templates, and scheduled maintenance tasks designed to automatically track time for easy billing.
“LabTech Ignite represents more than 1,700 staff hours and the time and talents of two of the industry’s most profitable MSPs,” says LabTech Software CEO Matt Nachtrab.
LabTech Ignite requires a system upgrade to LabTech 2012 Server and is free to all current users. It can be adjusted to existing configurations for a merger of functions to suit specific business requirements. All others may download a LabTech 2012 trial, which includes LabTech Ignite on fresh installs.
