HEROware is launching HERO-Defender, a “Bring Your Own Box” business continuity product. Designed for users who already own 64-bit backup hardware, HERO-Defender provides real-time replication with total recovery, much like the HERO-Defender appliance.
The HERO-Defender Replication Stack is installed on the dedicated backup server. Some features include:
- Replicates Microsoft Server operating systems, including Small Business Server
- All files and folders, including Exchange, can be retrieved from historical snapshots that are by default taken twice daily (up to 512 snapshots)
- Real-Time byte level replication
- Quick and easy verification on-demand
- Automatic or manual failover
- Compliant with SOX, HIPAA, SEC, and FINRA
